Indian Premier League (IPL) season 12 started on 23rd March in a promising manner by paying tribute to armed forces who lost lives in Pulwama attack and contributing cheques to families of the martyred army people.

The IPL 2019 is a great feast for fans round the country as the season lasts for approximately 50 days. Each match is a real excitement as every team comprises world’s best players of cricket.

Start of IPL 2019

While the season started emotionally, Vivo IPL 2019 started with a huge excitement with a match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This first match hosted at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Tamilnadu gathered a huge crowd being on the Week-end (Saturday).

Although the first match had no tough competition to watch out, CSK under Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s (MSD) captaincy made its debut with a win in the IPL 2019. Yet there’s more anticipation as the season continues until 12th May.

IPL 2019- 2nd Day

The 2nd day of this season 12 witnessed couple of matches on Sunday following the 1st Match. The tough fight between Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) headed by Kane Williamson and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) under Dinesh Karthik was just awesome for the fans of home team that took place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Another game between Delhi Capitals (DC) led by Shreyas Iyer and Mumbai Indians (MI) captained by Rohit Sharma respectively took place at 8PM while the previous match held at Kolkata started at 4PM. Mumbai Indians being the host at Wankhade Stadium , Mumbai for the latter match was unable to defend the score put on charts by Delhi Capitals.

RR vs Kings XI- Today

Just after the weekend, today the only two teams Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kings XI Punjab in the contest would be facing upon one another at 08:00 PM IST. The match is going to take place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.  RR will be led by Ajinkya Rahane while Ravichandran Ashwin manages the Punjab team throughout this season of IPL 2019.
